BIOGRAPHY:

Gary D. Rabatin (Founder & President)

Gary D. Rabatin was first turned on by finance and investing during his early high school years. At the age of 18, Gary had his own personal financial advisor by the name of Larry Katurba. Through Larry Katurba's knowledge on mutual funds and investing strategies, Gary began stock piling money into mutual funds and into a Roth individual retirement account because he understood the "time value of money" concept. Money in the future is simply worth less. Gary could remember when gas prices where sixty-five cents per gallon and now gas has nearly quadrupled (as of 2007). Gary knew that there had to be a way to allow people to funnel immediate cash into their bank accounts without going deep into debt, and he was destined to figure out the best way to do this.

After Graduating Kenston High School, located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Gary enlisted in the United States Army National Guard. He was assigned to a total of three National Guard units, one unit was a maintenance company in Highland Hills, Ohio, the second was with the 30th Liaison Group in Smyrna, Tennessee, and his last unit of assignment in the United States Army National Guard was with the 278th air defense artillery battery located in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Gary D. Rabatin was honorably discharged from the army national guard in 2002 because he received an ROTC scholarship from Austin Peay State University. During his freshman year at Austin Peay, the ROTC program was ranked #1 in the country out of 270 colleges that offered ROTC to their college students. During his junior year of college, Gary attended a national advanced leadership camp at Fort Lewis Washington where he was given tough army tasks to complete and he was evaluted on his ablitiy to accomplish the tasks that he was assigned.  Above all, this course enabled him to demonstrate his leadership abilities to his evaluators and to his peers.

In 2003, Gary D. Rabatin became a certified cash flow consultant through the American Cash Flow Association out of Orlando, Florida. He viewed this course as an opportunity by which he could educate himself to the point where he could influence people in a positive way and help individuals achieve their financial goals and business objectives.  He had finally discovered his way to allow people to funnel immediate cash into their bank accounts without going deep into debt, but his plan was delayed a few years because he chose to honor and serve his country in the United States Army after the terrorist attacks occurred on September 11, 2001.

Gary graduated Austin Peay State University with a B.S degree in health specialization and a minor in military science. Upon graduating college, Gary D. Rabatin was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Gary then studied engineering at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri where he completed the U.S Army Engineer Officer Basic Course in 2005.  He went back to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri three years later and completed the U.S. Army Engineer Captain's Career Course in 2008.  Gary also recieved a masters of science degree in geological engineering from the university of Missouri Science and Technology in 2008.

Gary had to delay his concept of Gold Bar Funding Group due to his military obligation. Shortly after arriving to his first assignment as an engineer platoon leader in Greenwood, Mississippi, Gary Rabatin was deployed to Iraq where his main mission was route clearance operations. He and his troops risked their lives locating road side bombs and other improvised explosive devices that were emplaced by enemy forces. Through his combat experience, Gary has gained a new found respect toward life and its value.

Gary is a firm believer that goals can be achieved whether they are personal or professional. It is up to the person in the mirror to stay focused and dedicated long enough to achieve those goals. He believes there are only temporary set backs in life which are to be expected, but failing at something simply means you have given up on the one person that should matter the most; YOU.

"We all have intrinsic value and we all are worth much more than just a dollar figure. Unfortunately, some people forget that we are all equal and we all deserve to be treated as such. I wish you all great success and prosperity and I am looking forward toward "funding your financial future."
